What is the rejection rate?
If the paper is written well and the data has been analysed and presented correctly, there is no reason for rejection.

Yes and currently, JTAFS is published as an online journal.

How do I submit a manuscript?
You can submit your manuscript including cover letter, article text file and illustration to the Chief Editor JTAFS. Please see ‘Contact us’ and ‘Instruction for authors’ for e-mail and address submission.

How can I check the status of my article?

Once a desicion has been made on an article, the corresponding author will be notified. If the article is accepted, it will be listed in accepted articles under ‘Issues’.

Does JTAFS accept articles in other languages?
No, we do not accept articles in other languages except English.

Yes, we do accept articles from other research institutions and universities.

How long should peer review take?
Peer review typically takes 4-8 weeks. Sometimes the process takes longer due to an inability to secure a mandatory minimum number of reviewers in a timely fashion or because we have undertaken a more in-depth peer review.

No, but you will be given a complimentary copy of JTAFS issue in which your article has been published.
