Abstract

Tolerance screening of l0 starfruit clones to branch dieback symptom was carried out on 2 year-old plants grown on peat. Sigrificant difference with respect to percentage branch dieback index was observed among the clones. Clones B 10, B 9, B 2 and B 13 were most sensitive to branch dieback showing 11.5, 9.7, 9.4 and 9.1% index respectively. However B 6 appeared to be the most tolerant clone, with an index of only 5.2%.
