Abstract

Artificial inoculation of fruit of five mango clones (Harumanis, Kartakalumban, Carabao, Sala and Lebai Mohammad) showed significant differences with respect to anthracnose resistance. Harumanis was the most susceptible clone. Significant interaction between clones and duration after inoculation was also detected. The mango clone Sala was most resistant within 7 days of inoculation. Thereafter the mango clone Kartakalumban showed the least symptoms of anthracnose.
