Abstract

The reproductive biology of a duku langsat tree is described. The development of floral buds to fruit maturity takes about five months. No viable pollen grains are formed but the anther dehisces. The percentage of fruit drop is high (about 80%). Germination is hypogeal and multiple seedlings are formed.
