Abstract
The semi-automated method for histamine analysis was developed using a Technicon Auto-analyser It system. Samples of raw scombroid fish, canned tuna. canned mackerel and salted tenggiri were analysed for their histamine contents. The detected histamine levels in these samples were tar below the recognized toxic level (100 mg%). However, six of the samples exceeded the permissible level (10 mg%).
