Abstract

Pod characters are important in the identification of groundnut cultivars. Vegetative characters such as plant height, number of branches and leaf size can provide only supplementary information.Floral characters are not very useful, but can also supplement data on other morphological characters. A key for the identification of 15 groundnut cultivars was constructed.
