MERCURY CONTENT OF FISH FROM THE RIVER MOUTH OF SUNGEI KELANG 1979

SUMMARY

Fish samples were caught from the river mouth of Sungei Kelang and analysed for their mercury content by the stationary cold vapour atomic absorption spectrometric techniques. Most of the samples analysed contained mercury of less than 0.1 ppm. The highest level detectecl was 0.241 ppm in Ikan Ketuka (Trvgonidae family).
