Abstract
The four varieties of groundnut mentioned can be made into peanut butter. However, another experiment is required to check on the effect of different emulsifier on the spreadability and consistency of the peanut butter obtained. As the added oil also exert an effect on the spreadability and consistency the quantity and type of added oil should also be investigated. Finally, experiment should be conducted to study the effect of flavourings on the overall acceptance of the peanut butter.
